- Paneer – 200 gm – cubed
- Dried red chili whole – 3-4
- Vinegar – 1 tsp
- Water – ¼ cup
- Garlic – 5-6 cloves
- Onion – 1 medium – chopped
- Ginger – chopped – 1 tsp
- Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
- Butter/ ghee – 1 tsp
- Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
Method of preperation
- Soak the dried red chili whole in water and vinegar for 5-10 minutes. Grind it along with garlic to a smooth paste.
- Meanwhile fry the paneer cubes in butter or ghee and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and sauté the onions and ginger with salt.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till all the tomato pieces are soft and mushy.
- Stir in the ground mixture, followed by garam masala and paneer.
- Turn off the heat and garnish with mint and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
