Ingredients
- Milk -1 cup
- Custard powder – 1 1/2 tablespoon
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract/essence – 1/2 teaspoon
Method of preparation
- To the cold milk in a saucepan add the custard powder and mix well till its well combined and lump free
- Turn on the heat to medium and add the sugar and vanilla extract once the mixture starts to warm up.
- Stir the mixture continuously till its warm and starts to thicken.
- Turn off the heat when it starts to thicken and serve hot.
Tips & Tricks
- Garnish with chopped nuts.
- Stop cooking once it starts to thicken as it will keep thickening as long as its warm.
