Sea bream – 500 gms
Zinjari masala
Black pepper – whole – 1/2 tablespoon
Corriander – whole – 1/2 tablespoon
Cumin seeds – whole – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Corriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – as needed
Ginger – 1/2 tablespoon
Garlic – 1/4 tablespoon
Green chilli – 3
Coriander leaves – 50 gms
Vegetable oil
Clean the fish and set aside
Grind the whole pepper, whole coriander seeds and cumin seeds to a fine powder.
Add the salt turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder and pulse the mixture till it’s well combined.
Add the ginger, garlic and green chilli along with little oil or water and grind to make a smooth paste.
Finally add the fresh coriander leaves and pulse it till it’s well combined.
Marinate the fish with the marinade and set aside for an hour or two or even overnight in the freezer and grill it with minimum oil.
